The Ring Vows

Wedding Rings are a symbol, a daily reminder of the Marriage Vows you have taken.

There are many lovely Ring Vows.  Here’s a very sweet example:

Groom:

With this ring, I give you my promise

that my heart will be your shelter,

My arms your home.

We will walk together through all things.

Know that you are deeply loved.

I feel honored to henceforth call you my wife

and fortunate to forever call you my Love.

Great Joy

When we asked this Sedona Destination Weddings Bride:

“How much do you love your new husband?”

She respondedby throwing her arms up with joy as if to embrace the entire moment.

She loves him so much that she planned the perfect romantic elopement to Sedona.

Sedona did not disappoint.  She enveloped this joyous couple with a stunning Sunset at spectacular Red Rock Crossing with majestic Cathedral Rock rising up above.

This was a moment and a Wedding that her Groom will hold dear in his heart forever.

This is what pulling off the perfect Elopement looks like.  Pure Bliss!

The New Old West

This is such a fun and fabulous idea. An Old Western Style Wedding in the Red Rocks.
These His and her Cowboy hats look so romantic with a beautiful bouquet in the Sunset.
YeeHaa!

Happy Couple

Thank you so much Iala and Akal for making our elopement so incredibly special.  You really did take great care of us since the first time we spoke until even after our wedding and never let us down, for that we are truly grateful.  Our family was far away but you were all so welcoming, made us feel comfortable and at ease with your awesome personalities that it really took the edge off.  We felt like we known you all for years and we were not alone on our day. We are still amazed at how stress free everything was and how everything turned out exactly how we wanted.  The Airport Vortex is such an amazing place.  I’m happy that in one of our photos when we first got to the top of the vortex you captured the look on my face of being blown away by it’s beauty.  Everyone who has seen the photos simply gush over them and asks “How did you find this place?”  and we always say how lucky we are that we found your site or we would never even known the Airport Vortex exists.  We have so many wonderful stories to tell everyone about our cermony, I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of telling them.  See you again when we renew our vows in about 10 years :)
Eternally Grateful
Chrissy & Ron

In The Flow

This lovely Sedona Bride is in the Flow.  Standing on a Red Rock slab in the middle of Oak Creek she lets her train flow in the Creek.

This is a very powerful Vortex site.  It is said that when you face down streams you release all your cares and worries, suffering and pain.  And when you turn and face upstream as our Bride is doing you fill yourself up with Grace and Love and Peace and Joy.

Oak Creek Bride

This very beautiful Sedona Bride looks like a water maiden and her cute little ring bearer looks like a water sprite himself!

In the summertime early morning Weddings along the banks of lush Oak Creek are cool and full of summer sparkle.

Giant cottonwoods reflect in the waters surface and the temperature is perfect.

This Wedding took place at Red Rock Crossing. This is a popular Sunset Wedding Location but as you can see mornings here are magical too.

Leap of Faith

Marriage is the great Leap of Faith.  That is because when we marry we promise to love each other – not only as we feel today – but as we intend to feel for a lifetime.

With our Sedona Weddings we celebrate the Love that will grow and deepen over a lifetime.

The Leap of Faith is a good thing.  On your Wedding Day it is a Jump for JOY!  May you always remember the Joy that set wings to your feet. Amen

Togetherness

Two Heads are Better than One

This picture really is perfect for that old saying.  This young couple put their heads, hearts and lives together in their romantic Wedding Ceremony by the Banks of Oak Creek.

When we come together in Matrimony we get two of everything. More love, more hope, more brain power, more life and family, more joy, more Bliss, MORE!!!

It’s a good thing.

Isn’t She Lovely

Good Morning America certainly agrees that Sedona is magnificent. They have chosen Sedona as one of the TOP 10 most beautiful places in America. Their weatherman Sam Champion was here this past week filming and interviewing Sedona people and businesses.
We are very honored that our Shaman Officiant Akal was chosen by the Sedona Chamber to be a featured guest.
They filmed one of his amazing Drum Songs on Airport Vortex at Sunset. So watch ABC and Good Morning America the week of August 8th. And then let your imagination fly and call us soon to book your Sedona Destination Wedding!!

Shamanic Sedona Song

At this Intimate Wedding along the banks of Oak Creek our Shaman Akal serenades the couple with his drum singing solo.

Akal’s drum songs are moving, memorable and once in a lifetime. He creates his song from the energy of the moment. This Song was heard on the Wind for a moment and remains in the heart forever.

Our Shamanic Sedona Package is truly one of a kind!

Commitment Ceremonies

A Commitment Ceremony is a wonderful way to celebrate your Love and your relationship and what it means in your life.

We honor couples who wish to take this next step in their relationship. It is not always necessary or desirable to get a marriage license and do the legal by the State Ceremony.
Often what is most important is what is between a couple. How they feel and what they wish to say and promise to each other. Not everyone believes in or wants a State approved union.

It is the Sacred Union that is important.

We have many lovely Ceremonies for Commitment Ceremonies.

We also present each couple with a Certificate suitable for framing.

The Vows that the Couple make to each other in a Commitment Ceremony are important and will transform a relationship to a deeper level.

Reverend Jaggs

Here is our Reverend David Akal Jaggs. He loves to officiate at Weddings. He is a very warm and compassionate man. his ceremonies are full of light, love and laughter.

Reverend David is a pillar of calm and strength. Couples find it easy to relax in his presence and be more present in their special moment.

He brings a mature and solid presence to a Wedding Day. He himself is a happily married man. He enjoys joining couples and wishing them a life of married companionship, joy and lifelong love.

Lover’s Knoll Bride

This beautiful Bride is basking in the glow of Sunset at Lover’s Knoll.
Lover’s Knoll is an awesome Sunset Wedding Location.
There’s ample parking. very east access. And Cathedral Rock all aglow with the last of the day’s Sun.
We love this location. At Sunset all the Rocks light up and shine in all their Red Rock Glory. There are very few people here and we often find we have the Knoll to ourselves. it’s one of Sedona’s Special treasures. Perfect for elopements and larger Wedding parties too.

Wedding Joy

We love to hear stories from our couples of how they met.
This couple met at a Playground with their children. That playful energy carries over in their exuberance. Their Joy at Wedded Bliss cannot be contained. This is what you call Jumping for Joy.
On this beautiful Summer morn let’s all Jump for Joy and feel the happiness and Joy and Gratitude for our own Blessings and the Love in our Lives.

Native American Flute Song

Having music as part of your Ceremony is a wonderful addition.
The Native American Flute is a southwestern touch. The flute echoes off the rocks and allows you and your guests a moment to pause, breath and contemplate this very special day.
Native American Flute playing is part of our Shamanic Package. You may add it to any of our other packages as well!!

A Sedona Ring Blessing

Sedona Destination Weddings has a a special Ring Blessing Tradition.
First we fill a Tibetan Bowl with water from Oak Creek. Oak Creek is considered sacred by the local tribes. I call it the Ganges of America. This then is Holy or Sacred Water.
The Wedding Rings are placed in the water at the beginning of the Ceremony. They are being cleansed and empowered with the Words of the Ceremony and the Vows of the Bride and Groom.
When it is time to exchange rings our Officiant further Blesses the Rings by ringing a bell over them and calling for a Blessing for the Marriage and for the Couple to wear these rings as a reminder of the Vows they have spoken.
After the Ceremony the Bride and Groom and all the guests take turns scooping out a bit of the Sacred Water and sprinkling it on the Rocks – giving the precious water back to the desert and as they do so saying a Blessing for the Marriage. It is a lovely way to include everyone in your Celebration.
The last of the water is given back by the Officiant with this Blessing:
MAY THE RAIN OF BLESSING FROM THIS DAY FALL ON EVERYONE.

Beautiful Sedona Bride

A Happy Bride

I still am in awe of how perfect our wedding was, from beginning to end. There’s really a powerful combo of having time the day before the wedding with Akal to bond with the earth, the vortexes and with our spirits. It sets the stage for the wedding, and a foundation, to build upon with the connections of our spirits and energy that unites a couple in marriage… in perfect harmony.
The comments are pouring in at my blog and Facebook about how beautiful, powerful, and love filled our wedding looks in the pictures, description and video. People are saying their eyes fill up with tears or they actually weep while watching it. Just think if they had been there with us that on that mountain smack dab in the middle of vibrant, powerful, breathtaking action that only being married in Sedona can bring. I can thank Patricia, our photographer, for her energetic, giggling ways that instinctively knows when to snap the moment as if it had been rehearsed a million times. She almost seemed like another Super Hero, “Spidey Girl”; being everywhere at once click….click… finding all the tender, humorous, and big screen drama of our made for TV movie like wedding. Pinch me!! Our wedding photographs are heirlooms.
Thank you, Rev. Iala and Akal for taking our love story and turning it into a cover of a romance novel. Part of me laughs at saying that last statement, and the other part knows we asked the Universe to give us the wedding of our dreams, and then the Universe delivered it to us wrapped in turquoise skies, rich red dirt, Raven filled vistas and a couple in tune with our needs, desires and spiritual longings. Our wedding kicked it, didn’t it?! Oh man, as in Superman and Lille Lane, it sure did!

Creative Bouquet

We just loved the creativity of this beautiful Bouquet. The Bride took so much time and put so much love and so many memories into it. All of her family and the Groom’s was represented. Aunts, Grandmothers, mothers and more. They were all there in her hand and witnessing her special day.

Now they have a very special family heirloom to begin their new life together.

This is a Bouquet we will always remember.

Madonna Rock

Madonna Rock is one of Sedona’s incredible Land marks.

Madonna Rock is located at the far side of Twin Buttes. She is enfolded by the Pinnacles known as The Three Sisters or the Nuns.

She watches over the Chapel built on the rocks. Madonna holds her Beloved Child and looks out over a wondrous Landscape that includes Bell Rock, Court House Butte, and Cathedral Rock. Her beauty is breathtaking.

Madonna rises up over Chapel Trail. This is one of our very favorite Wedding Sites. It is a large Red Rock Platform under Madonna reached by a 15 minute moderate Hike. The area is a powerfully magnetic and feminine Vortex. A perfect spot to nurture your Nuptials.

Sedona Wedding Witness

The Red Rocks of Sedona hold so many mysteries. Depending on the Light, the time of Day or year there are a multitude of Beings etched in the Rocks.
This majestic Red Rock Totem Bird stood sentinel above us for one Sedona Wedding.

Sedona Commitment Ceremonies

Sedona Destination Weddings also does Commitment Ceremonies.
This is a wonderful opportunity to declare and commit to your partner and your Love. This is a Ceremony where the emphasis is on your Sacred union. Each partner has an opportunity to share the depth of their feelings and state vows that are meaningful and heartfelt to their Beloved.

The Commitment Ceremony is between you and your Beloved. This is an exclusively Spiritual Union. It is a wonderful gift to each other and a fantastic celebration of Love.

We have a beautiful Sacred Union Ceremony and many Traditions such as the Salt Covenant, the Sand Ceremony, Hand Fasting, The Honey and the Rose Ceremony can be included.

A Sedona Prayer

You see these Piles of Rocks all over Sedona.
I call them Rock Stupas.
Each rock is a prayer balanced precariously on another prayer.
In some Vortex Spots there are hundreds of these piled up. Rock Gardens of Prayer.
This one was along Chapel Trail. It graced a wonderful Vow Renewal Ceremony. Our couple added two rocks or two prayers of their own.
Take a few deep breaths, relax and send your own prayers into the Rocks.
Many Blessings

Wedding Traditions – The Sand Ceremony

The Sand Ceremony is a very popular Wedding Ceremony.
The different color sand in the separate vessels represents the uniqueness and the wholeness of each individual. The Bride has her vessel and the groom has his. Often if there are children involved in the new union they will have a separate vessel of their own.

The Bride and Groom each take turns holding their vessel and speaking of who they are as an individual. Their hopes and dreams and their family and history. Then the Groom has his say.

Then the couple combine their sands into a new vessel. This represents the Union of their Marriage.

When they have finished they both speak of who they are together. What their relationship means. What their shared hopes and dreams are.

The new vessel with the combined sands becomes a very special and treasured family heirloom. It is displayed in a prominent place in their new home. A daily reminder of their Vows and their Sacred Union.

Sedona Wedding Site – Sugar Loaf

Sugar Loaf is one of those sweet local spots. Not many visitors find it or even know how very special Sugar Loaf is. It’s known as the very Heart center of the Americas. An unassuming little Knoll in the middle of West Sedona. It has wonderful views of Thunder Mountain and Coffee Pot Rock and Chimney Rock. It’s a fabulous Wedding Site at Sunset. The light on the rocks is amazing and you are up close and personal with some beautiful Red Rocks.
The energy here is very heart centered and loving, gentle and sweet and accepting. In fact, Reverend Akal and I were married alongside sugar Loaf under a Tree that we now call the Wedding Tree. We visit it almost daily in our hikes and go there to renew our vows and connection whenever we feel the need. It’s definitely a favorite of ours.
This is a very easy hike to a spot we call the Singing Rock. Parking is limited in the lot but there is over flow available on the street.

Wedding Rings

Wedding rings are so personal and they say so much. They are a symbol of the vows you have spoken. We very rarely have the opportunity in life to give our vow. Marriage is Sacred in many ways. One of them is the Vows. A Vow is way more than a promise. A vow is your word. Not to be taken lightly. We must consider deeply and know our hearts truly before we make take such a serious step in our lives.
That’s why the rings are so important. They are a daily, minute by minute reminder that we made such vows. That we felt so deeply we came to a place in our lives and our relationship with another human being that we were more than ready to give our vow.
Rings are more than a reminder they are reassurance when times are hard. Yes, we really are loved and do love deeply. They are a constant celebration of Love and its magic and possibility and gift in our lives.
Behold the Wedding Ring!

Unique Sedona Bridal Bouquet

This is a beautiful and very creative Bridal Bouquet. It was made by the Bride herself. Made from dozens of brooches. Each of the brooches was owned by a family member of both the Bride and the Groom. Each brooch had a story, a memory and a smile.

This couple eloped. But they were not alone. Their family was right there in her hands in this very unique bouquet!

Sedona Ring Bearer

This little Angel was a sweet addition to one Sedona Wedding, She patiently waited with the rings around her neck until just the right moment. When I called her to come she pranced up to the altar bearing the rings. She brought a smile to all our hearts and a special touch of love to the Ceremony.

Your Sedona Wedding Party comes in all shapes and sizes and species.

This Wedding took place at Airport Vortex. It was an elopement on the coldest day that Sedona has experienced in many years. This lovely young couple were determined that that was their day and their time and nothing was going to stop them from Celebrating their Love. Surprisingly none of us felt the cold. When there is Love in the Air our hearts warm us from the inside.

Sedona Wedding Guest

An unexpected guest attended our Valentine’s Day Wedding on the banks of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing.

A duck is a great omen. Ducks mate for life and this handsome male was there with his mate. A very special blessing for the lucky couple.

Ducks also let everything flow off their back. They go with the flow in the Creek of life.

Duck is a powerful teacher. I always say when Quack Quack is headed your way – practice Duck Medicine and DUCK!!

The Sedona Bride and Groom

After a memorable and beautiful Wedding by the Creek a Sedona Bride and Groom stroll happily and in a haze of love towards their future and their lives together.

Such a gentle, rich and fulfilled moment and one that we are honored to be a part of.

Sedona Bride

Red Rock Crossing is a beautiful Wedding location in the early morning hours. The place is quiet – you might have some ducks swim by or a heron fly overhead – and once a horse came down to the water to drink.

Cathedral Rock at Red Rock crossing is the second most photographed spot in Arizona after the Grand Canyon. The morning hours here hold a special charm. Calm, quiet deserted. This is when Sedona’s magic really shines.

Cathedral stands tall and majestic above you and shimmers in the water below you.

Our beautiful Sedona Bride seems to be in Bliss. Soaking up the morning, the sun, the beauty and the love on her special day.

The Wedding Walk

I love the Wedding Walk. The new Mr and Mrs strolling towards their new life together. It’s like the first dance here in Sedona. This one is under the big shade trees of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing.

The Bride and Groom are always in a happy haze. We did it. We’re married!! Such a joyous walk in such a beautiful place.

This was especially happy because our groom contacted me 7 months before from active duty in Afghanistan!! I prayed for him until the moment he called me state side and said “I’m back, Reverend Iala. And I’m ready to get married.”

I was never so happy to see a Groom in all my life. I am sure his Bride felt the same way.

We like to honor all our men and women in service. That is why we have our 10% Military Discount on all packages.

Sedona Wedding Guests

Expect the miraculous in Sedona. You never know who will show up to your Wedding on the Red Rocks.
Everyone loves romance and these beautiful Ravens were no exception.
They circled a Ceremony at Airport Vortex and took all our breaths away.
A true Blessing from Spirit.

Beautiful Sedona

Sedona has been voted the most beautiful place in America. It’s moments like this rainbow over Courthouse Butte that earn Sedona this honor.
Sedona is full of breathtaking landscapes, vibrant Red Rocks, bluer than blue skies. Even a dark sky can yield up a treasure such as this rainbow.
There’s actually never a bad day or wrong time of the year to get married in Sedona. The views change from moment to moment. Photographers love it here – no two pictures are ever the same. The sky even when overcast blankets Sedona in Magic and Mystery.
Sedona is the perfect backdrop for your Sedona Wedding!

Love is all around in Sedona

Even the Cactus wish to celebrate Love here in Sedona. This is only one of the many loving cactus abundant in the Sedona desert.

From the heart of Sedona to your two hearts. Come and Celebrate your Sedona Wedding with us!!

Sedona Elopement

Sedona is the perfect place to Elope. Imagine a private, very intimate Wedding – just you and your Beloved and the powerful, majestic Red Rocks!

This is the ultimate stress free experience. Nothing to do save express your Love and your Commitment and create a memory that will live on in your hearts forever.

Kevin and Colleen loved their Sedona Wedding.

We wanted to thank you so much for the magical wedding at Cathedral Rock!!!!!!!!! Wow, if we had not discovered Sedona Destinaton Weddings we would never have known it was possible to be married in such a spectacular place. Further, it was known from the moment we first spoke, that you were a special person with wonderful energy. You truly have a gift and we feel blessed to have been married by you. Let us not forget to mention the joy, love and laughter that took us throughout the ceremony, WOW! Our wedding was beyond our wildest dreams and we will treasure that special day for eternity. Thank you for guiding us on our journey into the sacred union of marriage.

To the Spirit of Sedona!!!!!!

Sedona Wedding Ceremony Traditions

There are so many lovely Wedding Traditions that you can add to your Ceremony to add richness, color and express your uniqueness and your love in a fuller manner.

These traditions come from a variety of cultures and historical times.

A very popular one is the Unity Candle and a lesser known one is the Honey Ceremony.
The Hindus have a lovely tradition called the 7 Steps. The Rose Ceremony is a sweet reminder of your Wedding Day throughout your life. There the Hand Fasting tradition from the Druids and the Sand Ceremony which is colorful and leaves you with a daily reminder in your home of your special day and the vows you made. The Hawaiians use Leis and the native Americans use the Wedding Vase Ceremony.

Then there’s the Wedding Pouch Ceremony which is unique to Sedona Destination Weddings. its a lovely little tradition that we created in the Spirit of creating a Sedona Wedding Tradition tradition found nowhere else.
Its a lovely touch to add a Tradition to your Ceremony.

All of these Traditions and more I will share with you in greater detail in the coming Blogs.

Super Sedona Wedding Post

Superman and his Beloved Lille were very happy with their Sedona Wedding – I wanted to share with you their comment to yesterdays blog:

I still am in awe of how perfect our wedding was, from beginning to end. NEWS FLASH – Superman Marries Lille Lane

On September 22, 2010 Superman married his Lois Lane or Miss Lille at airport Vortex. It was the Fall Equinox and a powerful day and a powerful Ceremony.

They chose our Sedona Song Wedding Package. It was a two day never to be forgotten event.

Lille and Superman went out onto the Vortexes with Akal and had a chance to really connect with the energies have a transformational experience. Together they chose the Wedding site that they both Superman and Lille resonated with.

The Wedding Day was very intense – everything from sunshine to hail!
I was not worried a bit. I knew that the Spirit of Sedona would shine on us all and that Airport would shelter us for as long as we needed. Sure enough the sun came out the minute we all arrived and we had exactly enough sun to get us through the entire ceremony and lots of photos after wards. Lille and Superman were truly blessed. The rain around us was another level of Blessing – a special anointing by the Divine and a great gift to the desert.

Lille tells the story best on her blog. And she’s made a lovely little video so I’ll let her take over from here.

Sedona Wedding Sites – the Tipi Temple

The Sedona Tipi Temple is the most unique Wedding Location you will find.
In the shadow of Thunder Mountain this beautiful Tipi Temple is large enough for a party of approx. 20 people. The circle shape echoes the circle of your rings and your eternal love. Inside the Tipi Rises high over your head and has the feeling of a pyramid. The acoustics are amazing and the interior walls are the same magenta hue of the local claret cup cactus flowers. The walls themselves have been filled with crystals during construction which amplifies the energy of this spot.

The Tipi Temple is a wonderful location for our Shamanic Wedding package or at the very least some drumming and singing!!

You can learn more about the Tipi temple at our Tipi Temple Package page.

A Sedona Tipi Temple Wedding is very Sacred and very private. This is a beautiful jewel hidden in the heart of the Red Rocks.

Wedding Sites – Tlaquepaque

Tlaquepaque is a quaint, old Mexican style shopping mall right on Oak Creek. There are cobble stoned courtyards and a lovely little chapel for your Ceremony. For more info on the Chapel see our Sedona Chapels Package

Even if you go for a Ceremony out on the Red Rocks this little jewel is a great place for a photo session either before or after your Ceremony.

There’s plenty of parking, easy walking access for everyone and an old world charm that is remarkable and uniquely southwestern.

Sedona Wedding Sites – Bell Rock

Bell Rock is a well known Sedona Monument. It has great views of the valley in front of it with Courthouse Rock beside it and Twin Buttes and Cathedral in the distance. This site has very electric and powerful energy.

Bell Rock is a male Vortex. We call it Pa Bell because it gives you a direct line to the Creator. It is a great place to send up your prayers and intentions for your Marriage. It acts like a giant transmitter. Your vows and commitments to each other will be definitely heard and noted by the Divine.

There is plenty of parking and it is accessible with a moderate 10 minute hike.

Sedona Wedding Sites – Airport Vortex

Airport Vortex is one of my all time favorite places on the planet. This Vortex has such powerful and transformational energy. This is an electric/magnetic Vortex. That means it is balanced between male and female. The above Wedding was part of our Sedona Song Package

This is a two day event. On day one the bride and groom went on a powerful Vortex Tour with our Shaman, Akal. He took them out to many of the Weddings sites, helped them access the energies and prepared them for their Wedding Day. On this tour the Bride and Groom have an opportunity to really feel which site they both resonate with. This couple chose Airport Vortex and so the next day their lovely, intimate Wedding was held on Airport. I’ll post more about this Ceremony on a later date.

Airport is perfect for small weddings, parking is very limited and the access path can be daunting to Wedding guests. The photo ops are incredible. On your hike in you have sweeping views of all of West Sedona including Cockscomb, Bear Mountain, Thunder Mountain, Coffeepot, Wilson Mountain and Shiprock. At the Wedding Site you have views of Twin Buttes, Lee Mountain, Courthouse, Bell Rock and Cathedral.

Sedona Wedding Sites – Lover’s Knoll

Lover’s Knoll is just off a windy mountain road with world class views. There have been many car commercials filmed on this road. Spreading before you are Twin Buttes, Schnebley Hill, Lee Mountain, Courthouse Butte and Cathedral.

Sunset is the optimum time at this site and Sunset on a full Moon night cannot be beat anywhere on Planet Earth. Indescribable beauty, lighting and energy, a Wedding here on the Full Moon would be legendary.

It’s got easy access and ample parking – an unbeatable choice – as I said on any sunset night and on a Full Moon Sunset it becomes transcendent.

Sedona Wedding Sites – Huckabee Hollow

Huckabee is the start of a trail head a short way up Schnebley Hill.

I found this lovely spot that is a natural Ampitheater surrounded by gorgeous Red Rock formations and an incredible Vista of all of Sedona spreading out before you.

Imagine your Ceremony in the shade of a twisted Vortex Juniper on a Red Rock platform with the Red Monoliths of Schnebley Hill rising up above
you.

There are a lot of pros to this site. Can reach this site with any kind of vehicle so no need for the expense of renting jeeps. Very easy access for all ages. Lots of parking. Even a bathroom/change room at the trail head. Quiet and secluded. A very memorable and unique location for your Sedona Wedding.

You can also benefit from the powerful and uplifting Vortex Energy of this amazing Red Rock Butte.

Sedona Wedding Sites – Isis Overlook

Isis Overlook is a real hidden gem. It is a sweet little Red Rock knoll with views that sweep around you in a 360 degree span of unparalleled beauty. To the West is Cockscomb and Doe Mesa rolling into Bear Mountain and Boynton canyon then comes the great pillars of Isis temple Or Isis Rock then all the Secret canyon Wilderness and Brim’s Mesa and then the back end of Thunder Mountain. it is right in the center of an amphitheater of Red Rock Glory.

Access is over a bumpy dirt road. This can be done with a small party but you will have so much more fun accessing this site on the back of a jeep. This is a real adventure setting. It is still not far to go in a regular car and there is some parking. Though without jeeps this is a site for small wedding parties or elopements.

You really get a sense of the majesty of nature and the indescribable beauty and power of Sedona at Isis Overlook.
